I came in at 9.30pm at KKH. They observed me for 2 hours and i was dilated abt 3cm. I was trying to practice my breathing techniques that i learned from
my Doula. Going to early labour at home was a great idea. What happen after that was done in 2 hours at the delivery suite.
I was warded and i was scooted up to Ward 81 Bed 16 close to 11 pm plus. Kamal stayed till 12.30am and left subsequently. He was expecting it to be a long wait. He left.
My contractions started to get intense. The senior staff nurse said i shld go back to delivery suite. I was scooted down again. I told the nurse i had major urge to bear down. I was dilated at 6cm. I cannot hold any longer. My doctor was paged, and she may take some time. I had anticipated for my gynae to deliver my baby but my waterbag was burst as baby has shown signs of detress and she had passed motion inside. Doctor said the he had to do a slight cut as the baby head is big and forsceps had to be used. I told him, i understand and to proceed. I was already fully dilated.
By my 3rd push, she was out. The labour pain was unbearable but after she was delivered all the pain was gone. That was something that i can never forget. ALLAH IS GREAT.
